   10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Siena

Before there was Florence, there was Siena. For centuries the greatest rival to Medici power, this perfectly preserved medieval city gave the world some of its most extraordinary art and architecture. At its heart lies the Piazza del Campo - a shell-shaped medieval square so flawless it takes your breath away. This is where the legendary Palio horse race has thundered twice a year since the 13th century. Explore the medieval streets, the soaring Gothic cathedral and the towers that once defined the Sienese skyline. 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM | Lunch in Siena

   Montalcino

   02:00 PM - 03:30 PM | Montalcino

High on its hilltop above the Val d'Orcia, Montalcino is one of those Tuscan towns that seems almost too perfect to be real. Its medieval fortress dates to the 14th century - its wine dates back even further. Explore the town, visit the fortress and soak in the extraordinary views over the valley below. 03:30 PM - 05:30 PM | Wine & Gastronomy Tasting Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy's greatest reds - aged for years in oak, complex, powerful and utterly unique to this small corner of Tuscany. Your tasting at a local family-run estate includes Brunello alongside regional specialties - a fitting and deeply pleasurable finale to a day in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
