Depart from Punta Sabbioni on a comfortable boat that will take you directly to Piazza San Marco with no intermediate stops. Enjoy the lagoon cruise and let yourself be captivated by Venice’s unique scenery. During the journey, you will see the mouth of Porto del Lido, where the famous MOSE protects the lagoon during high tides. You will continue along the island of Sant’Andrea with its fortress that once defended the Serenissima from enemies, the Lido of Venice, home of the famous Film Festival, the smaller islands, and the Giardini, location of the Venice Biennale, until you reach the San Marco Basin. Once in Venice, you will have free time to explore the city’s wonders: Piazza San Marco, the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Campanile (tickets not included), and the charming Venetian streets, up to the famous Rialto Bridge.
