   You can visit the beautiful island of Burano, see its colorful houses, taste the island's typical biscuits and the delicious bussolai, see its leaning bell tower and visit one of the many lace shops.

On this island Ernest Hamingway wrote "Across the river and among the trees" alternating writing and hunting among the salt marshes. Island can be visited on request.

Outside the ACTV "OSPEDALE" stop in front of the entrance to the Civil Hospital of Venice which overlooks the Fondamente Nove in front of the lagoon you will find the "EL Sultan" boat waiting for you. It is the boat in the photo, entirely made of black and yellow wood.
