We're the only walking tour in Amsterdam covering the full 500 year story of the city's Jewish community, from 1593 to today, not just the Holocaust years most tours focus on. The guides are well-educated in this history and trained to bring it to life through personal stories, not just facts and dates. And we keep groups small, a maximum of 12 travelers, so everyone can hear, ask questions, and actually connect with the guide and each other.
The Uilenburger synagogue is a historic monument in the Louis XV-style (rococo). It was originally established in 1766 for the holding of Jewish religious services, and it served as such for nearly 200 years.
