This activity offers guided walking tours focused on the exterior and architectural details of the facade of Sagrada Familia by Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia has been under construction since 1882 and is one of the largest ongoing architectural projects in Europe. The basilica features two completed monumental facades, the Nativity Facade, which Gaudi supervised directly, and the Passion Facade, completed after his death with sculptures by Josep Maria Subirachs. A third facade, the Glory Facade, is currently planned. Your guide will explain the architectural details, religious symbolism, and construction history visible from outside the basilica. The Sagrada Familia is located in Barcelona’s Eixample district, a neighborhood designed in the 19th century by urban planner Ildefons Cerda.
