Spend your Easter Sunday on London's ultimate walking adventure - a 2-part journey through the city's most famous streets, parks and bridges. We'll walk for 2.5 hours, take a break at Borough Market, then walk another hour to the finish line at Tower Bridge. - Get active, meet new people, and see all the London sights in a day - Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London and a whole bunch more! - Hear the city's stories from your entertaining local guide - Stop at world-famous Borough Market for a lunch break - End at a classic London pub - enjoy a drink with your fellow hikers! (optional)

    Itinéraire

    1. We begin our hike at easy-to-reach Waterloo Station. Meet your friendly hike guide, stretch those legs and off we go! We'll start with a walk to the river through the "Banksy Tunnel" - a graffiti-covered underpass that's a real secret London treat!

    2. Houses of Parliament & Big Ben

      Pass the London Eye, cross the river the Westminster and stop for a photo with Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament

    3. Westminster

      Pass through busy Parliament Square to see the famous statues and take a picture with beautiful Westminster Abbey

    4. Next, we walk up Whitehall past 10 Downing Street (home to the UK Prime Minister) on our way to opulent Horse Guards Parade. See the King's Life Guard on horseback as we pass the grand old buildings and walk through the parade ground.

    5. Changing of the Guard

      We'll stroll through beautiful St. James Park to see the home of the King!

    6. St. James's Palace

      Next, we'll walk through Pall Mall and see the ancient palace where the King often stays

    7. Trafalgar Square

      We'll walk through Britain's most famous public square to see Nelson's Column, National Gallery and the beautiful statues and fountains

    8. St. Paul's Cathedral

      After walking along the River Thames we'll enter "The City of London" - the original part of the city where the Romans first settled. Now a famous financial district, at it's heart id the spectacular St. Paul's Cathedral

    9. Crossing Millennium Bridge, we walk the riverside area once home to Shakespeare and many of London's brothels and prisons (it's a little more upmarket now!)

    10. Borough Market

      We'll take a break at London's most famous food market! Here, you'll have around 45 minutes to explore, grab some great food, and have a little rest before the final part of the walk.

    11. London Bridge

      Crossing the river again, we'll enjoy amazing views in both directions from London Bridge

    12. Tower of London

      Our route takes us around the outer wall of the 900-year-old Tower of London!

    13. Tower Bridge

      A real must-do experience.... Our final stretch takes us to the iconic Tower Bridge! We finish near a great local pub - as all good British hikes should! Grab a pint or some pub grub to recharge

    We'll meet inside Waterloo Train Station, next to Boots Pharmacy (between the entrances to platforms 11 and 12). Your guide will be holding a yellow flag.

    • We'll end the tour outside a great local pub after crossing Tower Bridge - it's the perfect place for a refreshing post-hike pint or some filling local pub food!

    • Public transportation options are available nearby
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • A reasonable fitness level is recommended. We move at around average walking pace for approx. 2.5 hours, take a lunch break, then walk another hour to the finish.
    • Mobile or paper ticket accepted
    • One per booking
    • Simply show your booking confirmation to the guide! We'll meet inside Waterloo Train Station, next to Boots Pharmacy (between the entrances to platforms 11 and 12). Your guide will be holding a flag.
