    1. Bois de Boulogne

      Christmas Windows and Parisian Wonder.

Begin where Paris turns window shopping into Christmas theatre. Founded in 1865, Printemps combines ornate department-store architecture with seasonal scenes designed to make adults pause and children linger. Your guide introduces the traditions behind French gift-giving while pointing out playful details within the displays. Photo opportunity: Capture the delight of discovering a miniature Christmas world, with glowing windows bringing colour and sparkle to your Paris portraits.

    2. 9th Arrondissement

A Christmas Tree Beneath a Palace of Glass.

Step from festive windows into one of Paris’s most theatrical shopping settings. The 43-metre-high dome, unveiled in 1912, turns the store into a cathedral of colour and light. Its giant Christmas-tree tradition began in 1976—a spectacular meeting of fashion, architecture and seasonal imagination. Your guide reveals how department stores transformed shopping into an experience long before social media. Photo opportunity: Let the Christmas tree rise behind you beneath the luminous dome—a Paris holiday photograph with a wonderfully cinematic sense of scale.

    3. Bois de Boulogne

      French Elegance and Christmas Comforts.

If Ladurée is your selected café, your 25-minute seated experience takes place here. Otherwise, your guide briefly introduces it during the Galeries Lafayette visit. Settle into the first-floor salon for a warming pause amid Paris’s Christmas shopping spectacle. Choose Ladurée hot chocolate, cappuccino, Marie-Antoinette tea with rose and citrus notes, Othello spiced tea, or chai latte, subject to availability. Enjoy elegant surroundings and conversation about French café culture, festive gifting and Parisian life. Choose one café—Ladurée, Angelina or Café de la Paix—and one included drink per guest, subject to opening hours and seating. Pastries and additional orders cost extra. 4. 9th Arrondissement

Golden Drama and the Parisian Stage.

Meet the opera house that made arriving at a performance almost as theatrical as the performance itself. Opened in 1875, Palais Garnier emerged from a competition attracting 171 architects. Look closely at the façade: music, poetry and dance are translated into sculpted figures. Your guide helps you read this lavish building as a story of ambition, entertainment and Parisian society. Photo opportunity: Capture an evening worthy of the opera, with golden architectural details and the bustle of Paris surrounding you.

    5. Bois de Boulogne

      Café de la Paix.

A Warming Pause in Grand Paris. If Café de la Paix is your selected café, your 25-minute seated experience takes place here. Otherwise, this is a short exterior introduction. Opened in 1862, this celebrated address beside Palais Garnier brings historic elegance to your Christmas evening. Settle among marble tables and ornate details with hot chocolate, cappuccino, café latte, the house ginger-and-lemon green tea, or vanilla rooibos, subject to availability. Your guide shares stories of Parisian society and French Christmas customs as you relax over your drink. Choose one café—Café de la Paix, Angelina or Ladurée—and one included drink per guest, subject to opening hours and seating. Pastries and additional orders cost extra. 6. Jewels, Window Displays and Parisian Craftsmanship.

Follow the elegant connection between the opera district and Place Vendôme. Beyond the jewels are tiny design decisions: lettering, metalwork, carefully arranged windows and the way a doorway announces a house’s identity. Your guide connects these details with the craftsmanship and gift-giving traditions that make this corner of Paris particularly evocative during the holidays. Photo opportunity: Enjoy a natural walking portrait along the glowing shopfronts, with Parisian elegance unfolding around you.

    8. Christmas Elegance on a Grand Scale.

Enter a square where disciplined architecture creates an extraordinary sense of harmony. Your guide helps you notice how repeated windows, roofs and architectural rhythms create the square’s visual unity. Photo opportunity: Make this your romantic Christmas portrait: glowing trees, grand façades and a moment together in one of Paris’s most elegant settings.

Its spiralling reliefs transform military history into a continuous visual narrative—an architectural detail easy to overlook while admiring the festive surroundings. Your guide briefly connects the monument with Napoleon and the changing public symbols of Paris. Among the glittering windows, this small detail opens a different Paris: intimate, artistic and deeply human. It is the kind of discovery you could walk past without realizing whose story the building holds. Photo opportunity: Capture the plaque and elegant façade, then a portrait that brings this quieter, more personal side of Paris into your collection.

    12. Fashion, Festive Windows and Hidden Details.

Your guide highlights distinctive signs, doorways and decorative details while connecting the surroundings with the pleasures of choosing a thoughtful gift. Seasonal displays vary, making the street a place for fresh discoveries rather than a fixed decoration show.
