   Your journey into Ancient Rome begins at the Colosseum, one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Step inside this legendary amphitheater with your expert guide and uncover the stories behind the gladiatorial battles, political power struggles, and incredible engineering achievements that shaped Roman history. Learn how this remarkable structure hosted grand spectacles — and even staged ancient naval battles — while separating fact from fiction beyond Hollywood’s famous depictions. Guests selecting an Arena Floor option will enjoy special access to the Arena Floor, where gladiators once fought before thousands of spectators. Guests selecting a 1.5-hour tour option will enjoy a guided visit to the Arena Floor, followed by a guided introduction to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. After the tour concludes, guests are free to continue exploring the Colosseum Archaeological Park independently at their own pace with their included admission ticket.

   Palatine Hill

   Continue to Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome. According to tradition, this was the hill where Romulus founded the city in 753 BC — a decision that led to the tragic fate of his brother Remus. Explore the ancient landscape where emperors later built magnificent palaces and enjoy spectacular views overlooking the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus.

   Roman Forum

   Discover the Roman Forum, the heart of Ancient Rome’s political, commercial, and social life. Walk along the Via Sacra, the Sacred Way once used for triumphal processions, and explore the ruins of temples, basilicas, and monuments where senators debated, emperors ruled, and some of Rome’s most important moments unfolded.

Meet your guide at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, on the little square above the metro line B (blue line) stop "Colosseo". Your guide coordinator will be waiting here wearing a blue City Wonders polo shirt or jacket for easy recognition.
