It is a very calm and spiritual place to start the day before we dive into the busy ancient streets of Ephesus. Upon arrival in Pamukkale, the tour begins with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis. With your guide, you’ll explore key parts of the site, including the Roman baths, the ancient theater, the necropolis, the main streets, and several temples and public buildings.

As you walk through the ruins, your guide explains how Hierapolis developed around its thermal waters and why it became an important center for healing and daily life in Roman times.
