Members are greeted at this desk in the entrance foyer, where they present a small card called a recommend. The recommend card is issued by their local church leader certifying that they are prepared to enter the temple. So, it's very likely that if you don't have recommend, you couldn't get inside. Before booking this tour be in touch with your local church to avoid problems once there. If you're not Mormon please beware you can only visit the surroundings and not the inside.
