Together we will discover the modernist period (1888-1930) within its social, political, economic and artistic context. We will analyse Gaudi's work: Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and discuss his complete works. We will see other buildings: Rocamora, Ametller, etc. The tour provides the visitor with a local, expert and immersive view of modernism, Gaudí, the history of Barcelona and cultural traditions. It is aimed at people who want to have in-depth knowledge about Gaudí. We will make sure that the tour is educational, enjoyable and full of interesting facts.
I will explain the evolution of the history of the city of Barcelona and then present Modernism in its political and social context. We will analyze the first modernist works such as the street lamps on Paseo de Gràcia.
