   Your next stop is the hill where Rome was founded. According to legend, it was here that Romulus killed his twin brother Remus before founding the Eternal City in 753 BC. The Palatine Hill gives us our word “palace” because it was home to Rome’s rich and powerful. Explore the remains of the imperial palaces and imagine the luxury of ancient Rome. The sprawling ruins, towering pine trees, and spectacular views of Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum make this a truly memorable experience.

   Roman Forum

   The last stop on your tour takes you into the heart of the ancient city. Your guide will be waiting at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, located just above the Colosseo Metro station, holding a yellow Carpe Diem Tours flag or sign. If you are near the Colosseum, enter the metro station and take the stairs inside to go up to the meeting point.
