The Galata Bridge
The Galata Bridge is a bridge that spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. The Arabic word estuary, which is the geomorphological name of the structure formed by the invasion of a part of the river bed reaching it by the sea, has become a special name since the Ottoman period, due to the importance of the Istanbul estuary for the city, and has become the name of a city region covering many districts.
