   St. Mark's Square

   Meet the assistant and collect your headset, then follow your guide in Saint Mark's square for a short introduction of the city of Venice.

   St. Mark's Basilica

   Your combined tour starts at 10.45 am, meet your guide in Saint Mark’s Square, and from here you will be accompanied to the Saint Mark's Basilica, once the private chapel of the Doge of Venice, and the only one of its kind in Italy, thanks to the sumptous golden mosaics and impressive marble inlay flooring. During the tour you will be able to sit down in the church and absorb the atmosphere whilst listening to your guide who will describe the biblical scenes represented throughout the building, together with history and particularities of this ancient Basilica.Visit Saint Mark's Basilica first floor museum and see the famous horses and admire Saint Mark's Square from the Basilica's terrace.

   The second part of the tour starts at 3.00 pm

   Meet the assistant in front of the St Marks post office in calle larga ascensione and you will be assisted in boarding the Gondola, one of the most recognized symbols of Venice - up to 5 people per Gondola - at the landing stage of San Moisè. Experience how the locals were transported by these beautiful black, elegant rowing boats, throughout history. This is an experience that you must not miss!
