   Your visit starts at the Loreto, one of Prague's most important pilgrimage sites. Hidden inside stands a copy of a small stone house from Nazareth — the house where, according to Christian tradition, the Virgin Mary lived. The guide starts outside, with the story of the place and its famous carillon. Inside, it takes you to the highlights — the Santa Casa, the cloister, the baroque church and the treasury — and leaves you free to explore at your own pace.

   You will descend into Nový Svět, a lane of tiny coloured houses where the noise of the city stops. Tycho Brahe lived here in 1600. Allen Ginsberg visited in 1965. And almost every house carries a golden name — you will find out why.

   From there you climb back up to Hradčany Square — the square everyone crosses on the way to the castle, and almost nobody stops at. You will discover its renaissance palaces, a baroque plague column, and a gas lamp that still burns with a real flame.

Please go directly to the Loreto Prague at the following address: Loretánské náměstí 7, 118 00 Praha 1 – Hradčany. It is just a short walk from the tram stop Pohořelec – you can take tram number 22 from the city centre. The audio guide starts right in front of the Loreto, on Loretánské náměstí.

• Thank you for purchasing the Prague Loreto Ticket + Castle District Audio Guide Tour. On the day of your reservation, you will receive an email with the audio guide, including your entry ticket to the Loreto. After logging in to the audio guide, you will find the ticket in the "Tickets" section. Simply present it at the entrance. To use our audio guide, you need a fully charged mobile phone with a data (internet) connection, and headphones for a comfortable listening experience. The Loreto is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — come at any time within the opening hours on the day of your reservation. Allow at least one hour inside, and start early enough to have daylight for the walk afterwards. Good news: your audio guide is valid for two days. The Loreto closes at 5 p.m., so if you visit late in the day, feel free to save the walking tour for the following morning. The audio guide starts outside the Loreto and continues as a self-guided walk around the historic Castle District. Please note: Prague Castle is not part of this tour. The walking part takes you through Prague's charming (and sometimes cobblestoned!) streets, so comfortable shoes are highly recommended.
