En 1713, la peste regresó a Praga. La mayoría de los médicos de repente recordaban asuntos urgentes en otros lugares. Alexandr Schamsky, de 28 años, y aparentemente perdido ese instinto de supervivencia, se quedó: trató a los pacientes, documentó el caos, de alguna manera vivió para contar la historia. Tres siglos más tarde, siga sus pasos exactos con un guía en traje completo de médico de la peste : máscara de pico, capa con capucha, bolsa de cuero y todo. Make the acquaintance of Alexandr Schamsky, learn about the plague saints Sebastian and Rochus, and find out why three litres of garlic beer a day was considered solid medical advice.

        Step into one of Prague's most atmospheric courtyards - just 20 metres from the tourist crowds but feeling like a different century entirely.
