   The Uffizi Gallery

   The Uffizi Gallery is one of the main attractions when visiting Florence. Built in 1560 and known as the world's oldest museum, it was designed by the famous Renaissance architect Giorgio Vasari. The grand duke of Tuscany, Cosimo I de Medici, decided to re-establish the authority of the Medici family. You can save your time with the guide to see the most important highlights inside the Uffizi Gallery. Usually,  if you want to see everything inside the museum, you need more than 24 hours to go through because it's such a huge gallery with more than 100 rooms and more than 5000 masterpieces. This museum is the 2nd biggest in Europe. See masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Raphael, among works of art spanning more than 15 centuries. • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Uffizi Gallery.
• Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the attraction.
