From St. Peter’s Square, walk east on Via della Conciliazione. After 300m, turn left onto Borgo Pio. Walk 200m and turn right onto Vicolo del Farinone. Continue straight, and you’ll find number 23 on the left. Close to Vatican City and Castel Sant'Angelo!

• Visitors with disabilities and one accompanying person receive free admission to the Vatican Museums and therefore cannot participate in this tour.
• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• Name on the ticket: All entrance tickets must be purchased in the name of the visitor. It is mandatory to ensure that the name entered during the booking process matches the visitor's identification. Regardless of the purchaser, the ticket must be in the visitor's name to be valid for entry.
• Invalid Tickets: If the name on the ticket does not match the identity of the visitor, the ticket will be considered invalid and cannot be used for entry.
• Liability: We do not accept any responsibility for any mistakes made during the booking process. If the visitor's name is entered incorrectly, the ticket will be invalid and no refunds or corrections can be made.
• Security: Visitors must pass through airport-style security. The wait at the security checkpoint can last more than 30 minutes, depending on Vatican security.
• Children from 0 to 6 years free
• Please note that Sistine Chapel will be closed on Thursday, October 23th due to internal Vatican events.
• Saturday, January 3, January 9, 2026 The Sistine Chapel will close to the public from 2:00 PM, with last entrance at 1:00 PM. Saturday, January 10, 2026 The Sistine Chapel will close to the public from 12:00 PM, with last entrance at 11:00 AM.
• We would like to inform you that from January 12 to March 31, extraordinary maintenance work will take place on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment in the Sistine Chapel. For this reason, scaffolding will be installed and will cover the entire wall during this period.

• By Public Transport (Metro and Bus): Take the Metro Line A (red line) and get off at Ottaviano station. From Ottaviano, walk approximately 10 minutes towards Vicolo del Farinone. By Bus: You can also take bus number 40 or 62, which stops at Cavalleggeri/Gregorio VII or Borgo Sant'Angelo. From either stop, it's a short walk to Vicolo del Farinone. By Taxi: A taxi from the city center (e.g., Piazza del Popolo or Termini Station) will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. On Foot: If you're near St. Peter's Square, Vicolo del Farinone is just a 5-minute walk away, heading toward the Borgo Pio area. Ensure you use a map or navigation app for real-time directions and ease of travel!
