Located between the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum at the famous Museum Square you will find the Diamond Museum Amsterdam. While the museum prepares for its new home, the highlights of the collection are on show in a temporary exhibition, with a guided diamond factory tour on one ticket. Amsterdam has been the City of Diamonds for four centuries, and many famous stones were cut here, such as the Cullinan (the largest diamond ever found) and the Koh-i-Noor (the mountain of light).
