Discover a show created for a place like no other: Aux Belles Poules, a real former Parisian brothel with preserved decor. For an hour and a half, the property owner and the Papille Sisters bring the history of the brothels to life through an unexpected mix of storytelling, singing, theatre and dance. Funny, informative and full of surprises, this experience plunges you into a disappeared Paris, where this story was written.
The show begins at 8:00 p.m. sharp. Caroline, the property owner, takes you into the little-known history of Parisian brothels. How did they work? Who used to see them? What rules governed the lives of the women who worked there? Between astonishing anecdotes, misconceptions and historical realities, you discover a universe far different from the one you imagine. As the story unfolds, the Papilla Sisters appear and bring to life the characters and eras evoked. The show naturally alternates narrative, theatrical scenes, songs and dance. The performance ends at 9:30 p.m. Important information: placement is free. In order not to disturb the performance, no entry is possible after the show starts at 8 p.m.
