It stands as one of the oldest and most well-preserved monuments in the square. Serpentine Column: Also known as the Delphi Tripod, this is an ancient Greek bronze column with intertwined serpent heads. It was originally erected at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece, and was moved to the Hippodrome in the 4th century.
