• A strict dress code is enforced within the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. Short skirts or clothing revealing bare shoulders will not be permitted
• While our skip-the-line tickets expedite entry, you will still need to pass through airport-style security checks, similar to those at airports. Please allow extra time for this process
• Holders of a disability card with a rating of 74% or above are entitled to free entry for themselves and one accompanying caretaker (if self-sufficiency is limited)
• If you require wheelchair access, you can purchase your tickets directly at the Vatican Museums' designated entrance. You do not need to purchase through a tour operator
• Please be aware that the Vatican enforces strict punctuality. Latecomers with skip-the-line access tickets may be refused entry by Vatican administration
• All participants must provide their names exactly as they appear on the ID they will present upon arrival. Tickets are nominal and non-refundable, meaning that the name on the ticket must match the ID shown at entry. Providing incorrect names or using a name that does not match the ID may result in denied entry, as this is a requirement set by the venue. Please double-check and confirm the accuracy of the names to ensure a smooth entry experience.
• Please note that Vatican Museums skip-the-line tickets are subject to availability. The actual entry time may be scheduled up to one hour before or after your selected time. We will always aim to secure the closest possible time slot.
• During Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel may close without prior notice for the Papal Conclave. Access is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be provided for such closures.
• Restoration work on Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment will take place in 2026. The Sistine Chapel will remain open, but scaffolding may partially or fully obstruct the altar wall. No refunds are issued for restoration work, scaffolding, or unannounced closures by the Vatican.

Getting to the Museums by Metro: The closest metro stations to the Vatican Museums are Ottaviano and Cipro, both located on Line A (red line) of the Rome Metro System. Here's what to do to access the Vatican Museums: Check Your Email: Look for the separate email containing your official ticket (not the Viator or Tripadvisor booking confirmation). Make sure you have it easily accessible! Once you arrive at the Vatican Museums, bypass the main entrance queues and proceed directly to the passage indicated on your voucher. Entry: Vatican staff will scan your official ticket for entry. That's it! Get ready to explore the artistic wonders that await you inside. Dress Code: Remember, the Vatican enforces a dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. Time is Crucial: Be punctual! The Vatican strictly adheres to scheduled entry times. Latecomers, even with skip-the-line access, may be refused entry.
