There is no better way to discover Rome's centre and its wonders than by riding a scooter. Forget parking lots, crowded buses and metros, and expensive taxis — glide through the Eternal City on a stylish Vespa, reach practically anywhere without fatigue, and enjoy a panoramic ride at your own pace. LICENCE REQUIREMENTS – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING EU/EEA riders: a valid EU driving licence (category A, A1, A2 or B, where applicable). Non-EU riders (e.g. Americans, Mexicans, Brazilians, Australians): your national driving licence PLUS a valid International Driving Permit (IDP). One without the other will not be accepted. The licence must be the original physical document. Photos, photocopies and digital versions cannot be accepted. RIDING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY A driving licence alone is NOT enough. You must have real, hands-on experience riding an automatic scooter. Experience with other types of vehicles — quads, jet skis, electric scooters, e-bikes or manual-gear motorbikes — is not considered sufficient preparation for this activity. TEST DRIVE POLICY Before handover, every rider must complete a short test drive with our staff. If our staff determine that you are not able to ride the scooter safely in Rome's traffic, the rental will be cancelled on the spot and NO REFUND will be issued. This is a safety measure, not a formality — please book only if you can genuinely ride an automatic scooter. WHAT'S INCLUDED Full insurance coverage, helmets, anti-theft chain, and free access to all of Rome's ZTL (traffic-limited zones) without special permits. Our staff will be happy to suggest itineraries and share local tips. Your Roman dream comes true.
