The world record for the longest surf wave (26.21 m by Sebastian Steudtner, in 2020) was broken here. The Site of Nazareth, accessible by the famous elevator, offers amazing views of the sea and the village. Suberco Miradouro; Forte de São Miguel Arcanjo (where you can observe the waves and there is the surf museum); Museum Dr. Joaquim Manso (local history).
