As we descend from the Pincian Hill, we’ll ride past the grand Piazza del Popolo—one of Rome’s most iconic squares. Once the main northern gateway to the city, this elegant piazza is framed by twin churches, ancient fountains, and a towering Egyptian obelisk at its center. Though we won’t stop, you’ll have a fantastic view of its symmetry and scale from the sidecar as we glide by.

As we cruise through the heart of Rome in our Vespa sidecar, one of the most iconic landmarks we pass—though not enter—is the Vatican City.
