   Colosseum

   Palatine Hill

   Meet your fellow group members and get to know your guide as you make your way to the Colosseum. Get an introduction to Ancient Rome and check out the details of the Colosseum’s outer wall. This incredible monument is the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire and was constructed in less than 10 years! Climb the original marble steps to the Colosseum’s second level to get a glimpse of the arena floor and underground chambers from above.

   Roman Forum

   Visit ancient temples and pass by the senate house as you walk past the broken columns of the Roman Forum. Then check out the details of the Arch of Titus as your guide leads you up to the Palatine Hill for some magnificent views of the Roman skyline.

Meet in front of the Basilica San Cosma and Damiano. Look for tour greeters in red Show Me Italy jackets/shirts. They will be waiting next to the large red pillar just in front of the church on the Via dei Fori Imperiali 1.

• Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
• Public transportation options are available nearby
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.
• Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• The meeting time is subject to change. In this case, you will be contacted in advance via email
• There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• A government-issued ID/passport is required for every participant. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument
• Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• Mobile or paper ticket accepted
• One per booking
• This is a guided tour and the guide will provide have the ticket for the duration of the tour. There is no need to pick up tickets in advance. All participants must check in at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time. Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
