• Due to uneven surfaces and numerous stairs within the Museums, this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. Please contact us to discuss accessible tour options or alternative arrangements
• Free admission with a certified disability card of 74% or higher. Companions for non-self-sufficient visitors also enter for free. Please notify the tour provider at booking
• All visitors must have their shoulders and knees covered to enter the Museums
• During busy periods, increased visitor numbers may lead to longer wait times for security checks and the mandatory collection of Vatican headsets
• Please note that the tickets for this tour is from the queue and not skip the line
• Due to the rules inside the Sistine Chapel, guides are not permitted to speak. As a result, the guide will provide an explanation of the Sistine Chapel's significance and its artwork while the group is in the queue to enter the Vatican Museums. The guide will still accompany you inside the Sistine Chapel, but no further commentary can be given once inside.
• During Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel may close without prior notice for the Papal Conclave. Access is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be provided for such closures.
• Restoration work on Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment will take place in 2026. The Sistine Chapel will remain open, but scaffolding may partially or fully obstruct the altar wall. No refunds are issued for restoration work, scaffolding, or unannounced closures by the Vatican.
• Please be aware that this tour is not wheelchair or scooter accessible due to the presence of numerous stairs throughout the museums. Unfortunately, there are no elevators available for use.
• Mobile or paper ticket accepted
• One per booking
• Important: On the day of the tour, there is no ticket redemption point. Please make your way to the meeting point at Via Vittor Pisani 6/8 and arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts. Look for our WAWI staff holding a flag to meet you and begin your Vatican tour
