Your private local licensed guide will pick you up at your Prague place by private car. After 45 min of comfortable drive you reach Karlstejn village. Starting from there you walk up to the castle about 20 min (eventual horse carriage in summer available, extra cost). After exploring some courtyards you will enjoy guided tour in small group in the Imperial Palace that was the seat of the caesar (castle is closed on Mondays, in winter months & limited in spring / autumn).
